Best Wishes to Loyan

BY Andrew Miesner / December 22, 2016

Today we are announcing the departure of one of our first stream team members – Mateusz ‘Loyan’ Roszkowski. Loyan joined the squad over a year ago as an ambitious and growing streamer in the Hearthstone community. With Noxious and Ryzen already on compLexity’s streaming team, Loyan fit right in as the Shaman expert that he was – before Shaman was cool, mind you.

Over the past year with compLexity Gaming, the young Polish streamer continued to entertain his viewers, but also grew into a fierce competitor in the community. Qualifying for the HCT – European Spring Championship proved to be just the beginning. He added an appearance at the WESG European Championships, as well as a Top 8 performance at DreamHack Winter 2016, competing against an open field of more than two hundred players.

It was that success that led Loyan to outgrow the role that compLexity Gaming initially had in mind for him.

“Loyan is a great and ambitious competitor, a top-notch player in the scene.” , Sören ‘Fantasy’ Vendsahm, coL.HS manager said: “We initially had him as a streamer, but his real drive and motivation shifted towards competing. Traveling to the LAN events, playing in team leagues, all of that. With our stacked roster we couldn’t always guarantee him a spot in some of the tournaments. It’s sad to see him go, but I personally believe it’s the best move for him. He will find a new home and hopefully will find as much success there as he had when sporting the black and red.”

We thank Loyan for his commitment and efforts as a part of the compLexity Gaming family and wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors.
