Changes to #COLCS: Stanislaw Stepping Down, Dephh Stepping Up and oBo Stepping In

BY Andrew Miesner / June 3, 2019

After a tumultuous start to the year that saw visa issues, several stand-ins and disappointing performances, we’re announcing roster changes to #COLCS.

First, we announce the exciting arrival of young gun, Owen “Obo” Schlatter. The incredibly gifted young player making tons of noise in FPL will be joining the Complexity CSGO roster after a successful tryout with the team, and will also be joining his new teammates as they head to ECS. He’s already making an impact in the server, and will make his presence felt in London.

Next, we announce that Peter “Stanislaw” Jarguz will be stepping down from the starting roster after a mutual team decision was made to take the team in a different direction. Peter has been a fantastic addition to the organization, as he lead Complexity to a top 8 finish at the FaceIt London Major. Yet, after a disappointing start to 2019, it was time to chart a new course for the team.

“I have decided to step down from the active roster as I no longer feel that I am the person to lead the team forward. Our results during my time on here were very inconsistent but I will always be proud of our top 8 finish at the Faceit London Major. I  want to thank everyone at compLexity for taking incredible care of me and wish them the best of luck moving forward,” said Peter Jarguz in a statement to fans.

As an organization, we never enjoy making roster changes, especially just weeks before an event. In this case, both Peter and the team felt this change was needed, and both look forward to their respective futures.

As for who will fill the IGL position, Rory “Dephh” Jackson – a 4-year veteran of #COLCS – will be stepping up to fill the role. Having been around the scene for quite some time, Rory’s in-depth knowledge of CS and his natural leadership skills make him the ideal candidate for the job.

Lastly, with Rick “Rickeh” Mulholland’s chapter of being stranded in Canada with visa issues now over, he will once again join the team full-time in the GameStop Performance Center.

We look forward to a bright future for this roster, and couldn’t be more excited to see them in action. Big thanks to all our fans for their continued support.

See you in London!
