The event, which is open to North American players, will take place during the month of May and will offer a 1,000 player open event with $5,000 in prizes. The top 32 finalists from the open event will join 32 invited professional players in a 64 man bracket for $5,000 in cash.

The Sound Blaster Tactic3D Online Gaming Tournament presented by Fry’s Electronics will be conducted in two stages. The first stage is the amateur bracket, where 1,000 amateur StarCraft II players will compete against each other until there are 32 players remaining. The second stage is the pro-am portion of the tournament, where the 32 amateur players will go head to head against 32 pro gamers for a chance to win the grand cash prize.
