Complexity’s Players and Streamers will Participate in Extra Life Streams on November 2 and Visit Local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Frisco, Texas — October 7, 2019 — Complexity Gaming, one of North America’s most elite and longest standing esports organizations, today announced a partnership with Extra Life, a gaming-focused peer-to-peer fundraising program of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® (CMN Hospitals). Through live streams, local hospital visits and more, this partnership allows for Complexity players and streamers to lend support toward fundraising efforts for CMN Hospitals across North America.

“Contributing to meaningful causes is one of the fundamental pillars of Complexity,” said Cam Kelly, CMO, Complexity Gaming. “Through our partnership with Extra Life, we are able to leverage our global reach and visibility to positively impact Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the country, including our local CMN Hospital, Children’s Health in Dallas, Texas.”

On November 2, a variety of Complexity’s players and streamers will participate in a celebration around Extra Life to help raise donations and awareness for the charitable needs of children’s hospitals. Throughout the day, players and streamers will not only raise money for Extra Life but will also award fans and viewers with prizes and giveaways. Beyond the kickoff event, all of Complexity’s players and streamers will have an always-on Twitch extension integration on their channels for fans to donate to Extra Life. As Complexity’s gamers and streamers raise money, they will earn stream milestones and incentives, which will appear on their channels.

Complexity players and influencers will also regularly visit and tour their local CMN Hospital. During their visits, they will connect and play video games with children as well as create social content to showcase the importance of supporting causes such as Extra Life.

“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Complexity Gaming to raise funds and awareness for children’s hospitals through gaming,” said John Lauck, President and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. More than 10 million kids enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital each year — funds raised through Extra Life supply critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. Thank you for your support and can’t wait to tune into Complexity’s charity streams benefiting CMN Hospitals.”

Extra Life’s website will feature a custom landing page for Complexity, showcasing fundraising efforts for both Complexity players and streamers as well as their community members, which will be updated in real-time. Complexity will also participate in and include giveaways and social promotions across social channels.

Complexity fans can tune in to watch the activities on November 2. For more information on how to support Extra Life, please visit https://www.extra-life.org/.
